Cheesy Garlic Bread Cups That Turn Simple Bread Into a Party Snack

Fill each bread cup with shredded mozzarella and a little Parmesan.

If you want something more filling, add a small amount of cooked chicken, mushrooms, or chopped bell peppers underneath the cheese.

Don’t overfill them because the cheese will melt and spread as it cooks.

Bake until golden

Place the muffin tray into a preheated oven and bake until the bread edges become crisp and golden and the cheese is completely melted.

Keep an eye on them during the final few minutes because bread can go from golden to burnt surprisingly quickly.

Finish them while they’re hot

Remove the cups from the oven and let them sit for a couple of minutes.

Sprinkle fresh parsley over the melted cheese.

Then carefully lift them from the muffin tin.

The combination of crispy garlic bread + stretchy mozzarella + Parmesan makes these hard to resist while they’re still warm.

Make them different every time

The basic version is delicious, but you can easily change the filling.

Try:

  • Chicken and mozzarella
  • Spinach and feta
  • Mushrooms and Parmesan
  • Pepperoni and mozzarella
  • Corn and cheddar
  • Caramelized onions and cheese

They’re also a great way to use small amounts of ingredients you already have in the refrigerator.

The next time you have leftover bread, don’t throw it away.

Turn it into something golden, crispy, cheesy, and completely different from an ordinary sandwich.
